Over the course of several adjustment sessions, the braces fitted by Dr. Susanne Baaqee will realign your teeth appealing smile and a healthy mouth. Even though your braces are designed to be durable there are some foods, activities and bad habits that can cause problems.

If something on your braces becomes loose or is damaged, you should call Dr. Susanne Baaqee at 407-293-3002 to schedule an appointment to have them repaired. Even a minor problem can increase how long you need to wear braces.

If for some reason you can’t immediately contact Dr. Susanne Baaqee, there are a few things you can do to help manage the problem until you can get in.

When you were first fitted for your braces Dr. Susanne Baaqee gave you a piece of special orthodontic wax. You can try to secure a broken wire or loose bracket inside the orthodontic wax to protect your mouth. If you don’t have the wax handy, you can make do in a pinch with a pencil eraser. If you have a metal band come off don’t try to put it back on.

It’s not uncommon for a spacer to fall out shortly before you are due for your next adjustment session. You should call Dr. Susanne Baaqee as soon as possible so she can assess the situation and determine the best course of action.
